Who am I?

Well, let's see. I was born in Montreal in 1951. I was 16 during Expo67, a totally amazing summer, that was. The next year I joined the Canadian government as a weather observer and worked my way up the ladder until I left in 1998. I left because the universe whispered to me that it was time for a change.

I met my wife, Nancy, at the tender age of 15, while playing in a band. We have been married since 1971 and have a wonderful son, Russell. We live in Canada, in the Greater Toronto area.

Spiritually you could say I was asleep for a long time, although I received great inspiration from nature over a period of many years of canoeing and hiking in parks and wilderness areas, mostly in Canada. Yoga lessons began to open the doors to new possibilities and led to a range of experiences from yoga ashrams to Buddhist retreats and Christian Bible study. Nancy and I then spent several years working very closely with an Indian spiritual teacher, who was instrumental in truly opening the doors to many wonderful awakenings that continue to this day. Those heady days seem like ancient history now, but our spiritual practice of tapping into profound inner experiences continues to provide waves of new insights and bliss.

The book After the Rain began in outline form several years ago. The actual text waited patiently until I took time to focus on it. Whenever I did, more words flowed. It really was like an exercise in automatic writing. Nothing in the outline changed as the words filled the mauscript. I still marvel at the process.

The outgrowth of After the Rain is the new program of self-discovery that I am excited to offer. Heart Speaks™ is a comprehensive program, based on my own personal experiences, that allows us to connect and savour the infinite positive energy that exists at the centre of our being. It is by reaching people with the Heart Speaks™ program that I myself feel fulfilled and optimistic that we can create a more peaceful, loving and sustainable future for humankind, our planet and all its inhabitants.

We are all experiencing that mystical process called Life. Live it to the fullest. Experience the Love. Experience the connectedness that tells us we are special, each one of us.
